What would you highlight about Jepun Bali Ubud Homestay

Homestay is strongly recommended. Culturally insightful.

Attentive service, safe, well located 80m fr main road, quiet, rated eateries within comfortable walking distances especially The Dirty Duck .. you have to try, shops, massage and pedicure services just outside. Communal experience living with a real Balinese family within their heritage compound with the family temple, savouring the old and new, it was like a green eco sanctuary with its own KOI pond and many varieties of staghorns. Got my clothes cleaned and ironed within the same day. Excellent fresh fruits daily and cooked breakfast.

My room was twin beds, could do with new mattresses and fix to bidet tap leaks floor wet. Having said that everything else was perfect, including the 2nd room we booked.

What would you highlight about Jepun Bali Ubud Homestay

A peaceful homestay with incredible hosts

I like everything at Jepun. The homestay is in traditional Balinese style but the room is modern and super clean. Everything you need is there. I love the porch with the tea table and hot water provided every day by the host. Bed is comfy but the pillow is a bit high to me. Mira, the host and her husband are nice and friendly with good English. They offered reasonable price for transportation to the airport as the husband drove his car. Breakfast is simple but tasty. Fresh fruit plate is included. Free water provided so keep an empty bottle with you. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Ubud.

Located in a small lane, a bit difficult to find at first. About less than 100m walk from the main road. However, this ensures a totally quiet space. Water pressure of the shower is not very strong but I think it's popular in Ubud.

Great guest house

Mira was an amazing host, very kind and helpful, also she made delicious breakfasts. 100% recommended because of the great location, she also has motorbikes to rent and make your staying in Ubud, and moving around, more convenient.

Exceptional

Wonderful homestay in very central location, lots of restaurants, spa and attractions in walking distance, but also quiet as it it tucked away off the main road. Really decent sized and clean room and bathroom. Very kind host who was really helpful in organizing travel to the airport ahead of road closures for a public holiday. And very tasty breakfast. Drinking water is available also.

I spent six nights at the homestay. It was clean, and the staff were very welcoming, even though we arrived at 1 am. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. They provided free water, and the location is close to everything.

Our home away from home

Mira and Kadek are the best! We have stayed with them many times over the past year and will continue to when we visit Ubud. It's our home away from home :) comfy rooms, very clean, location is perfect, very yummy breakfast and people you can speak with everyday and have a laugh :) smiles all round!

I cannot comment on any cons as Mira and Kadek are wonderful. They go above and beyond for their guests.

Mira the best!

Mira and her family were really welcoming and the breakfast was stunning too. We were helped with the taxi and they found a really good deal for the fast boat to Nusa. Besides, the house environment was really nice with a ritual atmosphere over it.

My best stay in Ubud and Bali trip

It was just Excellent. The location is the best you can get as it is close to Ubud Monkey Forest. And also near other attractions in Ubud. It is near to the Market. It has more than what it offers. This is the cheapest of all the stays on our Bali Trip. But this was the best. Everything was Perfect. The room is part of the Group house and the property is pristine clean. It almost gives a feeling you staying with them in a different room. The property is very well maintained with plants, ponds Host is excellent

Great stay in Ubud

Amazing location in Ubud city centre! Very close to the Monkey Forest, 10 minutes on foot from the main restaurants street, and 20 minutes on foot from Ubud Palace. Facilities are extremely clean and the staff is friendly, you can ask them anything and they will try to help you: Booking tours, having personal tours (they can bring you around in scooter or car), money exchange, laundry, or light meals. Breakfast is different every morning and it's delicious.

Great place to stay in Ubud

This homestay is perfectly located to see main attractions in Ubud and to travel to other attractions on Bali. The owners are friendly and serve delicious breakfast to your balcony. The rooms are spacious and clean. The whole object is built in architectural style characteristic of Bali. Having slept in a few places is Indonesia, this was definitely the cleanest, most covenient and the best value for money. This was an experience, not just accommodation. Thank you to the owners.

Great choice in Ubud

Beautiful, clean and comfortable place. Good location, awesome breakfasts with good variety served to your private terrace. The property itself is well taken care of. The staff was accommodating and responded positively to any requests. Free water refills and affordable dining. Value for money at its best.

Keep in mind it really is a homestay, so the normal family life is happening at the property. It was slightly confusing at the beginning to figure out who was the staff and who just lived there. Everybody was nice and smiling but I couldn't stop feeling like I'm invading someone's privacy. That's not really the property's fault, it's just how this type of accommodation works. Would give 10/10 if they did not have multiple animals in cages. Birds and a lizard. Seeing them caged in those tiny containers made me feel quite sad everyday.

A uniquely beautiful place to stay in the middle of the city

Mira and her family deserve all the great reviews, we had the most amazing time staying with her! She was so friendly and personable, and gave us some great tips for getting around. It is incredible how peaceful it was staying here, as you’re in the middle of the city centre. Being in a quiet side street makes all the difference. There were some local dance and music groups practicing in the theatre opposite the house on some evenings, but this only contributed to our enjoyment as it was a great cultural experience to listen to this from our balcony!

We were asked to stay at the ground floor apartment on our first night and to move upstairs after that. Based on that we would recommend to request a first floor apartment as this has an incredible balcony with the most amazing view, we loved relaxing here with our breakfast and in the evenings. Also on the ground floor we had ants in our room, which weren’t there on the first floor. The blanket on the bed didn’t have a cover, but we got one when we asked for it.

Best Home stay experience and would come again.

Lovely home stay experience. Mira and her family are so nice and were very helpful with organising Transport to Gili T and mount Batu. The breakfast was delicious. I would stay again and would recommend to stay

all very good but if you want to meet other travellers and make connections it’s not the right place.
